A2 KET |
- Students who are at Pre-Intermediate level (A2 level of English) on the CEFR scale
- Learners should be able to speak, write and understand basic English
- It is recommended that they have done at least 250 hours of English lessons

- Filling out basic forms with personal information, writing short letters and postcards
- Responding to questions
- Understanding instructions and announcements

B1 PET |
- Students who are working towards B1 Intermediate level on the CEFR scale
- They already have good knowledge and understanding of English
|
- Understanding more complex instructions and public announcements
- Giving opinions on a range of different topics
- Writing letters, emails and taking notes about familiar subjects
- Understanding articles and answering questions about them
|
B2 FCE |
- Students who are at Upper Intermediate level on the CEFR scale
- They are able to live or study in an English-speaking country as they have good language skills to communicate and write in English
- Learners who want to study a university course in English or who want to live or work in an English-speaking country

- Understanding the News and TV programmes in English
- Expressing an idea in detail
- Engaging in debates and general discussions using language of agreeing and disagreeing
- Writing emails and reports

C1 Advanced
Also known as Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE). |
- Students have excellent language skills to be able to use English in work environments or to study an undergraduate course
- They want to use English in their job or for academic purposes

- Understanding a range of texts
- Giving presentations on different topics in English
- Using more complex language to write lengthy emails and detailed reports
- Taking notes in meetings or lectures
|
C2 Proficiency |
- Students who have reached a very high standard of English, almost the level of a native English speaker
- They can communicate with very good fluency and accuracy in most situations
- Learners are able to use their language skills for academic purposes, such as doing a postgraduate course, a PhD, research work or for their profession

- Using analytical skills to negotiate, argue and discuss a wide range of controversial and complex topics
- Understanding almost everything in spoken and written English
- Using and understanding formal, academic and colloquial language
